About Todd Morgan
Born and raised in the south suburbs, Todd, his wife Cindy and children Brittany, Alex, and Devon, have lived in Frankfort for the past 28 years.
A dedicated family man, Todd served as a coach for Frankfort Boys Baseball and Frankfort Girls Softball. He helped create the Falcons Football program, raising funds and working through the Village approval committees to expedite its creation. He also volunteered for the annual Frankfort Fall Festival and the Fort Frankfort Playground development.
Todd holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Marketing/Economics and Financial Certifications Series 7, 24, 63, 8, and 65. He is employed with LaSalle Street Securities Chicago and works out of the local branch office in Frankfort. With over 37 years as a Financial Investment Advisor managing individual and business assets, Todd’s knowledge and experience is invaluable to the Village Board.
Todd actively seeks and listens to community input — striking a balance between commercial development, managed growth, and the existing business infrastructure. He firmly believes the combination of diligent planning, strategic growth, and open space enhances our community.
Building on the success of my previous term as a Frankfort Village Trustee, my goals and objectives are:
- More downtown parking and parking solutions.
- Strive toward achieving tax relief by reinstating the Village property tax rebate program.
- Add more trails to connect subdivisions, provide greater access to trails, and implement better trail maintenance by plowing during winter months.
- Continue to highlight Historic Downtown Frankfort by attracting a unique mixed use of venues.
- Increase the overall safety of our citizens through enhanced community policing programs, pedestrian crossing signs, and safe crossing system areas. Community policing introduces state-of-the-art tools that help make our neighborhoods and families safer.
- Work more closely with community organizations to guide further planning and cooperation with Village government.
- Work to increase both the commercial and industrial tax bases, but only through smart, controlled, visionary planning.
- Continue to be active in school funding reform in an effort to lessen the burden on property taxes.
- Develop more activities like Movies on the Green, Scarecrow Festival, Old Plank Trail Celebration, Winter on the Green and Concerts on the Green to involve and interest our residents.
